The
Philippine Nuclear Research Institute
(PNRI) conducts research and development on the application
of radiation and nuclear materials, processes, and techniques in agriculture,
food, health, nutrition, medicine, and in industrial or commercial enterprises;
and, transfers research results to end-users; through technical extension and
training services. It operates and maintains nuclear research reactors and
other radiation facilities, and regulates activities relative to production,
transfer, and utilization of nuclear and radioactive substances.
