The Philippine National Oil Company – Alternative Fuels Corporation (PAFC) was incorporated on May 13, 1993. It was formerly known as PNOC Petrochemical Development Corporation (PPDC) until its Articles of Incorporation was amended on July 13, 2006. Its primary purpose is to explore, develop and accelerate the utilization and commercialization of alternative fuels in the country. PAFC's secondary purpose is to engage in and carry on the business of petrochemicals in any and/or all its activities, products and parts.
