Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) Directory

The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) formulates national policies, plans, and programs and implementing strategies for advance science, industry and energy sectors. It programs and allocates government and other external funds earmarked for advance science, industry and energy sectors. It also provides the mechanism for assessment, evaluation and monitoring of R&D programs and updating of the national R&D plan. The agency also develops and implements resource generating strategies to implement and sustain programs for the sectors. Likewise, it provides support for the development of institutions and R&D human resource pool. Moreover, it shall establish, develop and maintain local and international technical cooperation and linkages; develop and implement programs for the optimal utilization, transfer, and commercialization of technologies and other research outputs; and; establish, develop and maintain an effective system for the acquisition and dissemination of research information.
