Agribusiness Corporation (NABCOR) is a government –owned and controlled corporation operating
parallel to the thrust of the Department of Agriculture
(DA). From its establishment on June 29, 1982 through SEC Registration No.
121272, NABCOR has evolved to be a dynamic corporation responding to the needs
and priorities of time. Originally from its mother corporation, the Strategic
Investment Development Corporation (SIDCOR), an agency under the umbrella of
the Office of the President, NABCOR was transferred to the Department of
Agrarian Reform (DAR), and finally on August 09, 2005, NABCOR was transferred
back to DA through another Deed of Assignment.
