The PHILIPPINE PORTS AUTHORITY (PPA) is an agency under the Department of Transportation and Communication mandated to coordinate, streamline, and optimize the planning, development, financing and operation of ports and port system of the country. The PPA is in charge of the day-to-day management and operation of ports in the country. They handle the collection of berthing, anchorage, storage and pilotage fees.
