The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) is a commission
responsible for the protection and promoting the interest and well-being of the
Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs)/ Indigenous Peoples (IPs) with due
regard to their beliefs, customs, traditions and institutions, and to the
recognition of their ancestral domains as well as their rights thereto.
